Miss Jillian joined Dancin J's Studio in the fall of 2007. Prior to Dancin J's, she danced at another studio for 10 years. Miss Jill has participated in several dance competitions since joining the studio, including Nationals in Wildwood, NJ. She was also one of the dancers chosen to perform on the Wildwood Boardwalk stage. Along with her fellow dancers, Miss Jill recieved a Platinum award & First Overall for Hip Hop at Regionals in 2009. Outside of the studio, Miss Jill is involved with the cross-country and track teams at Penn Trafford High School. We are very pleased to welcome her to our teaching staff this year, as she assists Miss Jen with the Teenie Weenies and Hip Hop Babies.

Miss Erin has been at Dancin J's Studio since she was 8 yrs old after dancing 4 years prior to that. She also began competing at the young age of 9. Since then, she has been to many competitions, including 2 Nationals in Wildwood, NJ, and has won many awards. She was also chosen for the National Performance Team in 2007 & 2008. In addition to dance, Miss Erin also plays softball and volleyball. She was also selected as student of the month at Norwin Middle School in 2008 and is a current member of Norwin FBLA, DECA, and Student Council.

Miss Chelsea joined Dancin' J's Studio in the fall of 2007 at 11 years. She was previously a gymnast since the age of 8. During her first year of dance, she started competing. Ever since, she has won many awards for her group dances at the regional level. Miss Chelsea continues to learn more and is part of the Senior Elite. She spends most of her time at the studio, but outside of dance, she excels in academics.

Katie May began dancing at the age of 14 on her junior high school dance team. To improve her technique she started taking lessons at a local dance studio in Belle Vernon. It was a match made in heaven. Dance gave her self confidence and discipline to help her mature throughout her adolescence. Through these short years she won awards and competed in many local and national competitions. After graduation she pursued a career in administration. She continued to stay fit with aerobic and strength training exercise classes. After a major car accident in 2002 she wasn't allowed to work out for almost a year. She gained nearly 60 lbs over the next few years. In December of 2007 she told herself she would no longer let that accident control her life and decided to make a change. She started hiking with her dog and lost 30 lbs. In the fall of 2009 she noticed a sign on a building that read Zumba Fitness. She went home and researched Zumba and discovered that it is Latin inspired dance fitness. Since that day she has taken Zumba classes 4-6 days per week and enjoys every class. In October of 2010 she became licensed to teach Zumba Fitness because of her passion for dance and fitness. She has lost a total of 50 lbs due to Zumba Fitness. Zumba is like a dance party not a workout. Zumba is for anyone at any fitness level. You don't have to know how to dance or be athletic. Come join Katie for a fun and energetic class!!

Heather Johnson didn’t spend her childhood years in the dance studio; however, she found her love of dance when she became a cheerleader at age 5. She continued cheering through her college years at Pitt Johnstown. Over the years she gained leadership skills in captaining her teams and competing at Regional competitions. Then, life happened. She entered the workforce, was married, had children, gained weight and lost her self confidence. She was then invited to attend a local fitness class by a friend that had lost weight and was recently licensed to teach ZUMBA®. She didn't know anything about ZUMBA®, but she was ready to try anything. After the first class, she was hooked. She went from no exercise at all to attending fitness classes 3-5 days a week. She became more productive at work, lost over 20 pounds and gained back her self confidence. In April 2011 she became licensed to teach ZUMBA® and became a member of (ZIN) Zumba Instructor Network. Now Heather is cheering on others to get fit without the treadmill grind. ZUMBA Fitness® is for anyone at any fitness level. Come join Heather at Dancin’ J’s for a ZUMBA® dance party and begin your own transformation!
